HI! I'M BTNURS.
I created this channel with the ultimate hope of educating other riders or want-to-be-riders about the RISKS, gaps in knowledge, UNEXPECTED incidences and scenarios in road, traffic, and environmental conditions, so that we as NOVICE riders or riders in general, can have SAFER and more ENJOYABLE experiences on our journeys of learning, growing, and experiencing this wonderful world of MOTORCYCLES.

To get a better understanding of how to RIDE a motorcycle I remember watching what was readily available online at the time and getting pretty discouraged by the amplitude of horror crash accidents viewed thinking that this would make me a better rider….*rolls eyes and sighs* (â—”_â—”)
After trialing for myself and almost failing to take a right-hand turn at an intersection in PEAK HOUR traffic, I decided to start a little more BASIC - practising my slow manoeuvring and getting comfortable with the concept and act of LEANING the bike instead of TURNING it. I spent ample late nights to early mornings riding around the streets and suburbs of my neighbourhood to practice and get acquainted with my bike without the PRESSURE or concern for heavy ROAD TRAFFIC.

When I reached a certain LEVEL of comfort and SKILL on my own I decided to engage with GROUP RIDES and ONLINE FORUMS to ultimately LEARN and GROW from the EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE of other riders. It wasn’t until I started trailing through the hills, freeways, with groups, and through country roads, that the next major GAP in competency and knowledge swiftly crept up behind, resembling the popular cultural trope often used to describe a felines ability to survive in seemingly precarious situations.

AND so. With that. Evolved the essence of BTNURS.

…and from a place of total despair and internal turmoil came about a type of recklessness that when refined with a sense of curiosity, an open heart, and unmarked vulnerability - the need to burn tires is what fed my soul
